God hates.

God is love.  He embodies love as nobody else can -- and He commands us to love, even to the point of loving our enemies.  I understand how hard that can be -- somewhat.  And God loves perfectly, where I do not.  I pray for Him to move in me, so that I can show more of His love to those I come into contact with; most especially to my family.

And the truth of Scripture is also that God hates. And we are to hate what He hates.

Psalms 26:5
I hate the gatherings of those who do evil, and I refuse to join in with the wicked.

Zechariah 8:17
Don’t scheme against each other. Stop your love of telling lies that you swear are the truth. I hate all these things, says the LORD.”

Psalms 119:104
Your commandments give me understanding; no wonder I hate every false way of life.

This world hates us.  They want us to deny His creation by denying our very own bodies in the various ways that the sexual revolution has taken hold.  We are not our own; we have been bought with a price, and we are to honor the One who made us and redeemed us.  That is harder for some than for others.

I pray for my children.  They are growing up in a world that doesn't acknowledge basic biology, let alone more nuanced thought, like Right and Wrong.  To call Good Evil and Evil Good -- that is the very makings of transgender ideology or the homosexual fiasco.  It's not difficult to see for some, but it is for others.  And we are to have compassion.  But for those that claim Jesus, they are within the church, and we are absolutely to judge those people:

1 Corinthians 5:12
It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning.

How do we help people navigate all this?  How do I?  My children are in their late teens and early 20's.  The older this generation may be, the less they have been indoctrinated.  But indoctrinated by who?  By my generation.  By the Left.  By Satan, ultimately.

Jesus, please show this generation Your way.  Not only is your way the way of life, but abundant life.  Where can I go?  For you alone have the very words of life, Lord.

John 6:68
Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life.

Father, you hate, but you love.  You judge, but you redeem.  You harden, but you call.  All the glory goes to You.  Grant us wisdom as we engage in this world that is against us; against you.
